Ian Thomas
Ian Thomas Questionable to play Sunday
Fri, Dec 12, 2025, 5:18 PM
Thomas (calf) is questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Eagles.
Analysis: Thomas continued to trend in a positive direction with full participation in practice Friday after opening the week as a non-participant with a calf injury sustained in Week 14. The 29-year-old's progression is a good sign for his availability Sunday against the Eagles. If Thomas is unable to play, Carter Runyon will act as the No. 3 tight end behind Brock Bowers and Michael Mayer.
Raheem Mostert
Raheem Mostert Limited but good to go
Fri, Dec 12, 2025, 5:15 PM
Mostert (knee) was a limited participant in Friday's practice but holds no injury designation for Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Analysis: Mostert appeared on Thursday's injury report with a knee injury and was able to upgrade to a limited participant in Friday's practice. The limited participation the running back engaged in seems to have been deemed thorough enough that he will play in Sunday's game. Mostert has 21 rush attempts for 98 yards through 10 games this season and will likely account for his normal relief volume behind Ashton Jeanty in Sunday's contest.
Alex Bachman
Alex Bachman Won't play against Philadelphia
Fri, Dec 12, 2025, 4:54 PM
Bachman (thumb) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Analysis: Bachman was unable to practice all week and will miss a second consecutive game due to a thumb injury. He's mostly worked on special teams this season, but his absence opens the door for Phillip Dorsett, Shedrick Jackson, Brenden Rice, Justin Shorter or DJ Turner to be elevated from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of Sunday's game. Bachman's next opportunity to play is Week 16 against the Texans on Sunday, Dec. 21.
Dont'e Thornton
Dont'e Thornton Cleared for Week 15
Fri, Dec 12, 2025, 4:42 PM
Thornton (concussion) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Analysis: After being limited Wednesday, Thornton worked fully Thursday and Friday, and in the process he progressed through the NFL's concussion protocol. However, with an 8-123-0 line on 25 targets through 11 games, Thornton is off the fantasy radar while working in a Las Vegas WR corps that also includes Tre Tucker, Jack Bech and Tyler Lockett.
Geno Smith
Geno Smith Officially ruled out for Sunday
Fri, Dec 12, 2025, 4:26 PM
Smith (right shoulder/back) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Analysis: With Smith unavailable, coach Pete Carroll announced that Kenny Pickett will draw the start at quarterback against Philadelphia, Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official site reports. Though Smith didn't practice Wednesday through Friday prior to being ruled out, Carroll said that the veteran signal-caller has "a really good chance to be back next week" against the Texans.
Kenny Pickett
Kenny Pickett Week 15 starting QB
Fri, Dec 12, 2025, 3:07 PM
Coach Pete Carroll announced Friday that Pickett will start Sunday's game against the Eagles, Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official site reports.
Analysis: Per Carroll, Geno Smith, who suffered right shoulder and hand injuries this past Sunday and didn't practice this week, "won't make it back" to face Philadelphia. "He tried," Carroll added, but the veteran QB "couldn't get it done in this amount of time." While the report adds that Smith has a good chance to be available for Week 16 action, Pickett will get the nod this weekend, making him an option for those in QB-friendly fantasy formats or otherwise are in need of shorter-term signal-caller help. Pickett's last regular-season start occurred Week 17 last season, when he was a member of the Eagles, Ryan McFadden of ESPN reports.
Ian Thomas
Ian Thomas Limited with calf
Thu, Dec 11, 2025, 6:03 PM
Thomas (calf) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
Analysis: Thomas' upgrade to limited participation Thursday is a good sign for his chances of suiting up for Sunday's game against the Eagles. After exiting the second half of last week's loss to the Broncos, the tight end has one more opportunity to log a full practice and avoid an injury designation for Sunday's contest. If the 29-year-old is unable to play, Carter Runyon will take over as the No. 3 tight end behind Brock Bowers and Michael Mayer.
Michael Mayer
Michael Mayer Logs full practice Thursday
Thu, Dec 11, 2025, 5:47 PM
Mayer (ankle) practiced fully Thursday.
Analysis: Mayer, who has missed two straight games, was limited Wednesday, but the tight end's full participation Thursday paves the way for him to rejoin the Raiders' lineup Sunday against the Eagles. With a 22-182-1 line on 32 targets in nine games this season, Mayer carries modest fantasy upside into Week 15 action in his complementary role working alongside fellow TE Brock Bowers, who leads the team in catches (53), targets (72), receiving yards (619) and receiving TDs (six).
Dont'e Thornton
Dont'e Thornton Full practice Thursday
Thu, Dec 11, 2025, 5:40 PM
Thornton (concussion) practiced fully Thursday.
Analysis: Thornton was limited at practice Wednesday, but his return to a full session a day later has him on track to play Sunday against the Eagles, barring any setbacks. Friday's injury report will reveal whether the wideout heads into the weekend with an injury designation, but with an 8-123-0 line on 25 targets through 11 games, Thornton is off the fantasy radar.
Geno Smith
Geno Smith Still not practicing
Thu, Dec 11, 2025, 2:57 PM
Smith (right shoulder/back) remained sidelined at practice Thursday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: On Wednesday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport indicated that Smith is considered unlikely to start Sunday's game against the Eagles, and back-to-back 'DNPs' logged Wednesday and Thursday by the QB support that notion. If Smith is indeed unavailable this weekend, Kenny Pickett would be in line to make his first start of the season.
Alex Bachman
Alex Bachman Limited to open week
Wed, Dec 10, 2025, 9:59 PM
Bachman (thumb) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
Analysis: Bachman was unable to play against the Broncos in Week 14 due to a thumb injury. His ability to practice in a limited capacity Wednesday indicates that he is progressing in his recovery, and he'll have two more chances to increase his practice participation ahead of Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Ian Thomas
Ian Thomas Doesn't practice Wednesday
Wed, Dec 10, 2025, 9:57 PM
Thomas (calf) did not practice Wednesday.
Analysis: Thomas suffered a calf injury during the second half of this past Sunday's loss to the Broncos and did not return. His practice participation over the next two days will shed light on his status heading into this Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Michael Mayer
Michael Mayer Returns to limited practice
Wed, Dec 10, 2025, 6:18 PM
Mayer (ankle) was limited at practice Wednesday.
Analysis: Mayer, who sustained an ankle injury Week 12 against the Browns, had missed six consecutive practices and two straight games heading into Wednesday's session. The tight end's ability to participate, albeit in a limited fashion, has him trending in the right direction as Sunday's game against the Eagles approaches.
Dont'e Thornton
Dont'e Thornton Limited practice Wednesday
Wed, Dec 10, 2025, 6:13 PM
Thornton (concussion) was limited at practice Wednesday.
Analysis: Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com previously indicated that Thornton -- who was inactive in Week 14 -- had cleared the NFL's concussion protocol, but the wideout was nonetheless deemed limited Wednesday. He'll have two more opportunities to upgrade his participation level before the Raiders assign game statuses for Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Dont'e Thornton
Dont'e Thornton Clears concussion protocol
Wed, Dec 10, 2025, 2:09 PM
Thornton has cleared concussion protocol, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Thornton will be available for Sunday's game at Philadelphia, but the extent of his role is unclear, especially after fellow rookie Jack Bech stepped up with six catches in Thornton's absence during a loss to the Broncos this past Sunday.
Kenny Pickett
Kenny Pickett Likely starting against former team
Wed, Dec 10, 2025, 1:21 PM
Pickett likely will replace Geno Smith (shoulder) as the starting quarterback for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Smith isn't practicing Wednesday and reportedly isn't expected to be ready by Sunday. The Raiders might've gone in this direction at some point in December even without the impetus of an injury, given the consistently poor performance of their offense this season.
Geno Smith
Geno Smith Unlikely to start this week
Wed, Dec 10, 2025, 1:17 PM
Smith (shoulder) won't practice Wednesday and is considered unlikely to start Sunday's game against the Eagles, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Kenny Pickett is thus in line to start against his former team, with Aidan O'Connell presumably taking over the backup role. Pickett replaced Smith after he suffered a shoulder injury late in the third quarter of Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Broncos.
Raheem Mostert
Raheem Mostert Makes one catch in loss
Tue, Dec 9, 2025, 10:10 AM
Mostert caught his lone target for two yards and he returned two kickoffs for 55 yards in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Broncos.
Analysis: Mostert's only offensive touch of the contest came on the Raiders' final drive with less than a minute remaining in the fourth quarter, when he caught a short pass from backup quarterback Kenny Pickett before running out of bounds. Mostert hasn't handled more than two carries in a single game since Week 6, but he's up to 10 total receptions on as many targets for 65 yards this season.
Geno Smith
Geno Smith Dealing with shoulder injury
Mon, Dec 8, 2025, 11:27 AM
Smith sustained a right shoulder injury during Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Broncos, Ryan McFadden of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Following the game, coach Pete Carroll said that Smith's shoulder "locked up" after he completed a pass late in the third quarter, which paved the way for Kenny Pickett to play the remainder of the contest. In terms of Smith's Week 15 status, Carroll noted that an early test revealed that the QB (who also sustained a cut on his right hand versus Denver) had avoided serious damage to his shoulder, while adding that he'll lean toward starting the veteran signal-caller Nov.14 against the Eagles, health permitting.
Tyler Lockett
Tyler Lockett Three catches in loss
Sun, Dec 7, 2025, 10:33 PM
Lockett caught three of four targets for 41 yards in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Broncos.
Analysis: Lockett was able to reel in multiple passes for the fourth time in the last five games, finishing third on the team in receptions behind Jack Bech (6) and Brock Bowers (4) against Denver. The wide receiver has yet to find the end zone over 12 contests with the Titans and Raiders this season, something he'll look to change in Week 14 against the Eagles.
